"Alexandra has an innate ability, not only for freestyling, but for engaging with the crowd in a manner that surprises and delights anyone in the audience.”

Actor
Acting is my first love. I thrive on fully embodying a character and stepping into their world. I’ve been performing ever since I was a kid in New York City, my hometown, and I went on to study acting at Skidmore College and further at the Moscow Art Theatre. I continue to refine my craft through Meisner Technique training at the Matthew Corozine Studio (MCS) and on-camera study with Bob Krakower Studios. My experience spans film, television, stage, commercials, and voiceover—and I’m always eager to bring fresh life, truth, and energy to my next role.

Freestyle Songstress
I create one-of-a-kind freestyle songs on the spot, inspired by audience suggestions, prompts, or questions about life and the universe. Whether I’m electrifying crowds of 3,000+, singing at corporate events, or performing at intimate birthdays or living room gatherings, I transform spontaneous ideas into musical storytelling. Several of my freestyles have later evolved into fully produced tracks under my former artist name, WereKitten (pronounced "ware-kitten"). Today, I perform as Zandra. I’ve trained in freestyle storytelling with the cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Freestyle Love Supreme and co-hosted The Lyrical Meditation Cypher Podcast, a series blending hip-hop and wellness.

Writer
I’m currently a writer and editor at Everyday Health, where I cover a wide range of wellness topics. Previously, I spent over 7 years at the New York Post as a reporter and editor, writing exclusives and trending stories for the online Features department and producing on-camera video reporting in a fast-paced newsroom. A pun-master with a knack for punchy, on-brand copy, I excel at getting to the heart of any story. My reporting has been recognized by AdWeek, and I’m also a grant-winning playwright. I look forward to translating your vision into words.
